"We're stunned by the technical solidity, the homogeneity of the voice, the perfect projection, the certainty of the high notes piercing through the orchestra without difficulty and, above all, the admirable musicality. Confoundingly natural, the young girl moves, dances and twirls with the grace of a ballerina."

Louis Bilodeau, Revue L'Opéra
Sophie Naubert is a young lyric coloratura soprano noted for her "extraordinary vocal maturity coupled with exceptional acting" (Louis Bilodeau, L'Opéra).
At the age of 23, she made her debut as a soloist with the Orchestre Métropolitain under the direction of Yannick Nézet-Séguin, with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Cottbus at the Berlin Konzerthaus, and with Arion Orchestre Baroque in Montreal. That same year, she participated in the recording of Massenet’s complete melodies under the ATMA Classique label.
Possessing remarkable vocal agility, Sophie excels in opera repertoire as well as theater and art song, always keeping a luminous stage presence.

For the 2024-25 season, she is part of the Atelier lyrique de l'Opéra de Montréal as an artist-in-residence.

"Aged 26, the young Canadian is a very precocious talent in the sense that her brassy soprano is singular for a singer of such a young age. This patina immediately catches the attention and gives great interest to the ensembles, as the voice is very personal."
